Proposal and Implementation of a Heliport Pavement Management System: Technical and Economic Comparison of Maintenance Strategies

Maintenance and rehabilitation (M&R) scheduling for airport pavement is supported by the scientific literature, while a specific tool heliport pavements lacks. A management system (HPMS) allows infrastructure manager to obtain benefits in technical economic terms, as well safety efficiency, during analyzed period. Structure rationale of APSM could be replicated simplified implement HPMS because movements rotary-wing aircrafts have less complexity than fixed-wing ones lower mechanical effects on pavement.
